Angelica Ramsey has known about her missing brother, Kevin Verville Jr., for as long as she can remember despite never having met him. He was 17 days old when he was abducted by an unknown woman in 1980. Angelica spent her life wondering who her brother became, whether he has a family of his own, and what it might have been like to grow up as his younger sister instead of the eldest child.
In 2017, Angelica entered her DNA into several databases hoping to find a match but no leads surfaced. Inspired by a conversation with former police officer David Paulides, she decided to take action in 2021 and she reached out to the FBI. She was eventually connected with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and began working with their communications team. In June 2025, NCMEC and the FBI held a press conference to announce renewed efforts in the 45-year-old infant abduction case of Kevin Verville, Jr. and released the first age progression image of him, offering new hope that someone may recognize his face.
A dedicated mother of two children and the full-time caregiver to her own mother, Angelica remains relentless in her advocacy. She launched the Facebook group Missing: Kevin Verville, Jr. to share his story. Angelica is honored to bring her brother’s case to CrimeCon and hopes attendees will join in her family’s search for answers.
